      <content:encoded><![CDATA[With Guild Wars 2's launch imminent and approaching swiftly on August 28th... and the impending Beta Event Weekend that lasts from July 20 to the 22nd... oh, and the stress test scheduled for the 27th. &nbsp;Well, it seems the smartest thing to do to fast track our new chapter into fruition.<div><br></div><div>So without further delay, the Guild Wars 2 chapter is now live. &nbsp;We've edited the dynamic application that can be found on the Recruitment section to fit our current active chapters of Guild Wars 2, Minecraft and TESO (LoL not included). &nbsp;More importantly we've added the GW2 section to our forums. &nbsp;I look forward to seeing everyone interested in the game posting there and I hope to see any new members making an effort to stay active on the forums both before and after launch comes.</div><div><br></div><div>In the meantime, existing members should start spreading the word to other Alchemists and non-Alchemists alike. &nbsp;I anticipate a great experience come launch and I hope that we will have a lot of great people to experience that with.</div><div><br></div><div>Until then, we will be starting a recruitment drive for the chapter and I will look to grow the base for the GW2 sect before the 20th. &nbsp;Stay tuned for official beta server announcements!</div>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Well, I'm sure many of you are wondering why we made this big transition that we are currently undertaking. &nbsp;Why are we now Alchemy Gaming instead of Paragon Gaming? &nbsp;Why the new website? &nbsp;New forums? &nbsp;Where did Yufmelt.com go? &nbsp;No more "Network"?<div><br></div><div>I'd like to take some time to be up front with everyone about this and try to give you guys the answers you deserve.</div><div><!--more-->It all started with technical issues. &nbsp;Due to hackers, nagging issues from said hackers and a general disatisfaction with the technical side of what we were trying to do, it had become a full time job running the network when you add those problems on top of content creation and general webmastering. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The latest outage was the tipping point and we decided instead of putting so much work into a network we would be better off just concentrating on the community. &nbsp;The different chapters, the people in the chapters and expanding that part of our little shindig we have going.</div><div><br></div><div>However, when we decided that that decision should be made for the good of everyone involved - it was our opportunity to remedy another problem we'd been running into. &nbsp;I think everyone in the SWTOR guild has been asked, "Paragon? &nbsp;The WoW Raid guild?" &nbsp;</div><div><br>Then to extend that issue, the guild we were confused for got caught exploiting in World of Warcraft. &nbsp;So, not only were we being confused for some other guild constantly, but now we were being confused for a guild that is now well known for exploiting - not being the best raid guild in the world.</div><div><br></div><div>So we set out to find a name that we could build a great brand around. &nbsp;Something fairly unique as far as a gaming community goes. &nbsp;And we found it in alchemy. &nbsp;We will be building up the brand and putting a larger emphasis in gaming itself rather than simply writing about it.</div><div><br></div><div>We hope this will improve our results in-game and we look forward to expanding our reach when our Minecraft server comes up on behalf of community member Zuuli.</div><div><br></div><div>So, if you have any questions please feel free to ask them in a comment below or send me a PM here on the site. &nbsp;If you are having any problems with the site please let me know about those as well so we can get our new home running smoothly for everyone.</div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold; ">The Transition</span></div><div><br></div><div>The last thing I'd like to touch on is the transition when it comes to in-game movement from our old guild to the newly created &lt;The Alchemists&gt; guild in SWTOR. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>We will be leaving some alts in Paragon and will be doing very regular /who checks for people who are stragling in Paragon. &nbsp;Our goal is to get EVERY member moved over; no one left behind! &nbsp;If you are in need of an invite please contact any officer as we will allow all officers to recruit again for a limited time to help the transition go smoothly.</div><div style="text-align: right;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 8pt; "><br></span></div>]]></content:encoded>
